About Hughes Technology

Hughes Technology LLC has been doing technology work in western Kentucky since 2015. We started the way most small technology companies around here start: somebody needed a network fixed, then a server, then a phone system, then a website, and the list of people who needed the same things kept getting longer.

Today we do all of it. We manage IT for offices, clinics, shops, churches, and small plants across Murray and Calloway County. We run business phone systems. We host hundreds of websites on servers we operate and monitor ourselves. And we build the sites and the ad campaigns that point at them. It is an unusual combination, and it exists for a practical reason: those systems fail at each other’s seams, and having one company responsible for all of them removes the finger pointing entirely.

We are not the biggest IT company serving this area, and we are not trying to be. The businesses we work with generally have somewhere between five and fifty employees, no full-time IT staff, and a person in the office who has quietly become the accidental technology department. Our job is to give that person their hours back and to make the technology stop being a topic of conversation.

Being local is not marketing language for us. It is the operational model. When hardware fails, someone drives over. When you call, you talk to a person who has already stood in your server closet. And when you have a question about which internet service actually reaches your building, we already know the answer, because we deal with the same providers in the same town every week.
